Training & DevelopmentThe MDR Program is designed to provide MDA’s with a cross-functional and developmental set of experiences. Through a variety of rotational assignments, MDA’s will gain exposure to various aspects of our business while making contributions in these areas. MDA”s are also supported throughout their tenure with the program, with the training that enable them to meet their objectives. The program strongly encourages each MDA to take the initiative and responsibility for his/her development in the program and provides support through training and mentoring to support individual development objectives. Training and development content focuses on the following areas:
The Nielsen Management Competencies serve as the framework for the Program’s training content and topics. These Nielsen competencies provide the basis for development opportunities most appropriate to the business. Training and development activities support Nielsen competencies, provide interactions with senior leaders, complement rotation assignments, and provide a variety of learning formats.
