MDRP Candidate Criteria

This highly competitive MDR Program expects and looks for excellence in candidates who bring diverse backgrounds to innovation and problem solving. We strive to have a mix of both internal and external candidates in each MDRP Class. We look for well-rounded recent college graduates who possess the following qualities:

Eligibility Guidelines (both internal and external candidates):

  • Graduated within the last 2 years with a B.S./B.A. degree
  • Undergraduate G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher (average participant G.P.A. is 3.50)
  • Leadership role in college extra-curricular activities related to specific degreed program
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively
  • Willingness to relocate to anywhere in the U.S.
  • Permanent Work Authorization in the U.S.
  • Strong desire to enter and develop within the media industry
  • Willingness to commit to multiyear career with Nielsen after completion of program
  • Capacity and motivation for hard work
  • Strong interpersonal, written and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, leadership and problem solving
  • Strong PC Skills
  • 1-2 years Nielsen work experience*
  • Must have consistently been rated a 3 or higher (Minimum OT/or Consistently Met Expectations) on past performance appraisals*
  • Letters of recommendation from current manager*
