MDRP Candidate Criteria
This highly competitive MDR Program expects and looks for excellence in candidates who bring diverse backgrounds to innovation and problem solving. We strive to have a mix of both internal and external candidates in each MDRP Class. We look for well-rounded recent college graduates who possess the following qualities:
Eligibility Guidelines (both internal and external candidates):
- Graduated within the last 2 years with a B.S./B.A. degree
- Undergraduate G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher (average participant G.P.A. is 3.50)
- Leadership role in college extra-curricular activities related to specific degreed program
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively
- Willingness to relocate to anywhere in the U.S.
- Permanent Work Authorization in the U.S.
- Strong desire to enter and develop within the media industry
- Willingness to commit to multiyear career with Nielsen after completion of program
- Capacity and motivation for hard work
- Strong interpersonal, written and communication skills
- Excellent organizational, leadership and problem solving
- Strong PC Skills
- 1-2 years Nielsen work experience*
- Must have consistently been rated a 3 or higher (Minimum OT/or Consistently Met Expectations) on past performance appraisals*
- Letters of recommendation from current manager*
